Abiotic Factors:
- Elevation- Supports biodiversity because most species cant live in high elevations. Making the species in the himalayas more rare than the species found in common places. It also protects the animals that live here because there are only a handful of predators that could live in the elevation.
- Mountains- Provide a safe barrier for the species to live. The mountains make it harder for humans to impact the area because of the hard terrain they would have to go through.
Biotic Factors:
- Wildflower & Plant Growth- Provide food for many different species found in the Himalayan Mountains. This affects the region by making it a very rich ecosystem full of many different species.
- Fungus- Provide a key role in the ecosystem by breaking down the dead organic matter found within the region.
