Descriptions
- Giant Panda- Have a white coat with black around their eyes, ears, muzzle, legs and shoulders. Giant pandas are normally around 150 centimeters tall with a tail about 10-15 centimeters
- Snow Leopard- Have white, yellow or smokey grey fur with darker gray spots. Snow leopards have long dense fur to protect them from the cold environment. They normally range from 90-130 centimeters with a tail that can grow up to 1 meter long.
- Himalayan Marmots-Range from anywhere from 475-670 milometers tall. They weigh anywhere from 4 to 9.2 kilograms. The Himalayan marmot is usually yellow or brown with some darker black spots sometimes.
- Red Panda- Resemble a raccoon with thick reddish brown fur. Their thick fur helps the cold environment because it is cold. The red panda can range from 20-24 inches and weighing up to 12 pounds.
- Earthworm-Have a reddish- brown back with a yellowish underside. The earthworm has rings on the side of its body that you can see and they might have a flattened tail region.
- Jelly Fungus- Most commonly are yellow or golden. The jelly fungus can absorb up to 60% of their mass as water.
- Bamboo- Bamboo is a green plant that grow faster then any other plant in the world. Bamboo is considered to be a type of grass.
- Himalayan Oak- Have either very tall and thick truck or they can also have twisted trucks with wiry branches. The Himalayan oak is endangered because of the need for firewood.
- Horse Chestnut- Can reach up to 30 meters tall. They usually bloom in the spring and early summer.The horse chestnut wood is considered to be soft and spongy.
- Screw Pine- Can reach up to 25 feet tall. To grow they need full sun to partial shade and wet but well drained soil. Each season screw pine grow 12-36 inches

There are an estimated 10,000 plants found in the Himalayan Mountains. Of these 10,000 plants about 3,200 of them are endemic.
